LOL, Nicole! Isn't that ironic? I wouldn't tell him about your WLS until things get more serious. For a casual date, all he needs to know is that you have a great personality and beautiful eyes. If things get more involved, then you might need to tell him a bit more.

Well you know what my take on it is....There are two schools on the subjuect. If you make him love that part that is not affected by weight, than he wont want to move off it. He could just get that, and be every so happy, with out being alone, he will find it irrisistable, and so con develope into his, where he will keep taking it over ontill it is only found with him and then he will prosper and it will most likely form into a spring wedding! The other school of thought is, he might be a slippery fish, and could get scared off easy, no mater what bait you use....Jesus caught a bunch of easy fish, they just jumped into his net, why not let him?

One more thing, if it is true, like my brother always says,"Them skinny men love them fat women!" You might get a stout one when your skinny!

Well... Since I lost weight...guys won't talk to me near as much. Before they were more interested in me and my out going personality. Now they ask my friends about me. They say I'm too intimidating. WTH??

Here's the thing - this surgery was for you - it was for your health - the cosmetic benefits are just extra. If he likes you now, he should like you later. Its on the inside that counts - and now's your chance to find out if that's true for this guy

I agree with Circa. If he likes you for you then the weight should be a secondary issue. I say a secondary issue because it is very deceptive to believe that the outer appearance does or should not matter. Everyone has what they are attracted to. I have guy friends who like their women with some meat on their bones and skinny women do nothing for them; while I have guys who are totally the opposite. However, this is about you. It would obviously be weird if you start dating him pre-surgery and your dates include eating at restaurants and at the movies...and then suddenly you can only drink 2 oz of liquid...but then I guess if it's just a casual thing at this point you can tell him you've already eaten and have activity based dates vs. those that may revolve around food. Once it gets more serious or the weight begins to drop rapidly...you should consider having the VLS conversation.
