Repositioned

I had my vertical sleeve done with Dr. Kim this past Monday; just got home today because my white blood cell count and temperature were elevated. But now all is well and I am feeling much better. I did a lot of walking in the hospital which I know helped me feel much better. I have 6 sites on my stomach which are closed with staples.

The hospital I stayed at was very nice and the nurses and support staff were great. Had to get up and walk every 2 hours on the day of my surgery. This was a bit uncomfortable, but still manageable. Not too much pain or nausea. My advice to anyone having this procedure is to do what they tell you to do. The walking may hurt a bit, but you will be better off for doing it in the long run (and increase your walking a little bit each time). I'm glad to be home.
