August 29, 2010

I got a call from Chris (ins. gal) from Dr. Lalor's office on Friday. She told me that my paperwork was submitted to BC/BS that day.

She told me that because my ins. still consideres the sleeve "investigational" that I may be in for a long wait. I told her that I was already expecting that. She told me that when she received any word from BC/BS that she would let me know.

Nothing to do but wait, wait, wait......

I hope your not in for to long of wait. I have BCBS (federal program) and my office submitted the paper on my first visit aug 5th and that afternoon they called and said it was approved. I had to do one psych and one nutritionist appt which the office was able to schedule me on the same day. They said I could do it as fast or as slow as I wanted to. I had my sleeve done on August 24th. I hope it all goes as well as mine did.
