I know what my trigger is!

I have figured out what one of my triggers is that sets me off. Sadly it's my husband, when we have an argument it set me off. And I find the more weight I lose or the more I work out the more he wants to argue over dumb stuff. But I have also realized that I'm doing this for me. For once in my life I'm putting me first. And if he can't handle that then tough titty. Just thought I would vent a little cause I needed to get this off my chest. My morning started off bad. Hope everyone else have a better day.

I am sorry your husband isn't behind you. Does he think the new you, thinner, is going to leave him? Maybe talk to someone at your doctor's office about how to handle the spouse or bring it up at your monthly support meeting. At my monthly meeting one man said he has a non-supporting wife, after I introduced my supportive husband.

You also hear stories how people marry 'a large person' and then that 'large person' gets fit, lose weight and the spouse doesn't want them anymore.

Have you talked to your husband about this? I wish you luck with this. We are all here to listen and we try to help each other with these problems.

Girl that just means your getting sexy! Truth is my husband dont even know i got the band (I know long story) I have always had problems with Uterine Fibroids so I told him I was going in to get some removed.....men! what do they know ....ha ha ha but at 35 who cares! the only people that know are my parents and a few co-workers.

The procedure was an in and out thing and i told him dont bother taking off work for that...so my parents took me and brought me home!

But yeah girl that's one of the reasons i didn't want to tell him...you know how men get mad and then want to throw unnecessary stuff into the argument......yep that's why! I can see how he cant seem to keep his hands off me now.....and every time i go anywhere, he talkin bout why you dressed up? i can be in flip flops and jeans with a cute top.

And he always wants to tag along with me wherever I go which i love! i love him anyway, but the way his tongue hangs out lately is awesome!

Maybe he is getting a tiny bit insecure. He might need to have his ego stroked a little. Is he one of those who subconsciously tries to feed you, like maybe bringing home ice cream or chocolate. My husband started doing things like that and I brought it to his attention and asked him not to do that, he acted like he didn't even know he was doing it. Try including him when you by clothes and stuff, And ask his opinion about stuff, and make him think this is for him as much as it is for you. He will eventually come around. Good Luck.

Wow...Your husband and mine must be BFF's. :) Cause mine acts the same way a times. We argue about something totally different and he slids in "you think you all that". Not sure what that is about. But I do me. And I love putting me 1st for a change. And I'm not @ goal weight yet. But with the weather change, I'll be there in no time. I have about 38 more pounds to lose. And look forward to losing every one. :)

I'm adding you as a friend. Cause one day we will have a lot to talk about. Best of luck to you on your journey.

I still have a ways to go but like you said with the weather changing I will get there. I went running today for the first time in I don't no how long and it felt great. Talk to you soon.
