I saw my PCP today and went over my meds etc. She said that about 6 months ago a study said that there is no evidence that fish oil helps against heart health. I see my WLS doctor Friday and I am also going to ask him. Has anyone heard of this? I have been taking fish oil gummies since the Band in July.

I think the fish oil is a mixed bag. I have been doing Coromega liquid fish oil for a while now. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't, but it doesn't hurt. I have heard so much controversy about fish oil, but there are probably benefits to it.

I am a cardiac patient....one heart attack, coronary artery disiease, surgery......

I take "LOVAZA" every morning....and it has definitley made a difference in my cholesterol......to say the least....

LOVAZA is Rx only, and last refill cost $250...Inurance paid...it is not gummies.....

You won't get me to stop....
