Let it motivate, but seriously, don't be disgusted with yourself! Recently (prior to surgery) I gained 50 lbs. in less time, and I was already 50 lbs. overweight to begin with. It's okay... our bodies might be too darn efficient at hanging on to fat, but that doesn't mean we can't retrain 'em. Ha! Maybe our bodies are also fast learners. :) You can do this. And listen to A New Dawn... "We all have to start somewhere!"

Just think how you will fill when that starts going down the other side. Like new Dawn stated, we all had a starting point.

I totally feel ya! I was banded Nov 24, 2010 I started at 252 July of this year I was down to 190. My band slipped and my Dr. removed all fluid. A month later he said things looked good and gave me a fill. He uses the machine to determine how much restriction I have. He says I have enough but I am up to 207 as of today.. I feel ashame and a failure. I got on here looking for motivation and support. I get so discouraged thinking I am the only one who has had these temporary set backs. I have read so many post and am beginning to see I can regroup and get back on track and I would love to chat with you. I want it to motivate you!!!!! I have faith that you will regroup as well!!! we both will over come this temporary set back. The key is we didn't get to far off track. Good luck to you. Would love to hear from ya, I don't get on this site often but If you are interested I would love to email chat with ya. I could use support. If your not interested its cool and I understand. deitzberneice@yahoo.com

I think everyone kinda gets lost at one point or another. I mean, that's how we got here in the first place. The band is a lifestyle change, and we need to make a conscious effort to help use our tool the right way every day.

I hear that unfills can easily lead us back to our old ways where we eat more, because we're just hungrier. Keep exercising & just watch what you eat.

Hang in there. We're all here to support each other throughout this incredible journey!!

I noticed on your profile your first doc visit is Nov 28th.

That is my son Michael's bday. He has had to over come many struggles. He's a warrier and protector, like his namesake Saint Michael.

Be your own warrior, and protect your health. YOU CAN DO IT!!
