It Has Been 3 Months Since I Last Posted...

And it saddens me so. I wish that I could say that things are going the way they should be and that I have been banded, but I haven't and it still looks like I'm going to have to wait a year or more. And that isn't a good thing. I have given up in a sense. I have gained weight and I can't seem to get modivated to do anything about it in the mean time. I need to start working out to slowly start taking off the weight so that I don't reach 300lbs. I just don't know how it got so bad. I wish that my insurance covered the surgery or at least helped out. Ty doesn't seem to care, and that makes me think that he doesn't care if it happens or not, which makes me more depressed about the whole situation. I wish we could find a co-signer to help with the CareCredit but I guess I will just have to wait.

Other news though... which is great news... I'm ENGAGED! Ty proposed to me about a month and a half ago while I was visiting him in San Diego. Super excited. We won't be married though for a few years, because I want to lose weight before hand.

Until next time.

Shel

Congrats!!!! on the engagement. I feel bad that the insurance company doesn't think you are worth a new start. I live in MA and I was approved 1st time. Is it the state you live in? Don't give up. Try Weight Watches, Jennifer Hudson looks amazing. I just can't stick to those diets that is why I am banded.

Good luck.

No, it's my employer. Those diets don't work for me either, thats why I need the band. I just need to do something in the mean time. Thank you! :)

Hey congrats on your engagement! Im not sure how you feel about diet pills..but my doctor prescribed me phentermine and it works! I lost 12 lbs in less then 2 weeks..but I gotta say it can get addictive, but it definitely works. You should try it out..and just start off walking 30 min a day..you will definitely see results..GOOD LUCK!

Congratulations!! I'm sorry to hear things aren't moving as you wish.. Check the paleo plan, you don't need to control portions, but you can if you want to loose more... It's a 21 days detox plan, I did and you don't only get rid of some pounds, but have a lot of energy.

Little advice, no that you're asking for, but don't put your life (wedding) in hold because of your weight, you're who you're more or less pounds. I got that as a woman we want to look like princesses in our wedding day, but life must be enjoy it in present tense; with what you have, with whom you are, with your weight, and with all the present conditions in your life..

Good luck in your journey ;)
