Unbanded Progress June 26, 2012

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ppPP63ulCY&feature=plcp

On June 20th I was unbanded. Leaving me with a checklist of emotional setbacks. I am working through them. At this point in my journey I have no idea what path I am going to take but I hope to share my decisions with you. I was banded May 2009. Lost all my weight in eight months, a POSTER CHILD for the lapband and then after two years it started to go downhill. I hope my story blesses you in some way and helps you on your WLS path.

If you could do it all again, would you?

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And that is SO HARD for me to say. But my health was at risk and I guess I was SO caught up in the sheer madness of finally making this decision that I felt NOTHING would happen to me. It's part of why I followed the rules to a "T"! Perfect bander.

But then again you are asking me when I am "reeling" from this and I am in a complete emotional frizzy.

I just want to be honest!!!! SHARE my story and maybe help someone else see that there COULD be complications even if you doing everything right.

I am so sorry. Have you blogged about your journey? I would like to read it if possible.

Hang in there, sounds like you made the best decision you could. I just read your blogs. Wow that is scary, I am sorry that happened to you and hope you are healing ok now.
