1 Day Post Op

Well, my surgery went fine yesterday...they had to repair my hiatal hernia, so i'm pretty sore right now...i've been walking around and some of the gas pains have settled down... woke up in pain near the port site... not hungry, but have been sipping on broth and water and so far no sickness...thanks for your prayers and support..

Oh and for the gas pains, walk and take chewable Gas-X. It helped me a great deal.

thanks....its getting better. today was my first day outside of the house. i went to a local store and walked around before picking up my daughter from work... she works at McDonalds. missing those dang fries, but im hanging in there. so sick of these liquids... can't wait to have something else. next week i have my first post op dr. visit. then its on to mushies... so wanting something with texture. the gas is not as bad... starting to get hungry but i don't really feel like eating but i know that i have to stay on track..
