Lap-Band Surgery

Hello everyone, I have struggled with my weight the majority of my life. I contemplated having weight loss surgery for years, finally after losing weight and regaining it back I decided that I needed a little assistance. I decided on having the lap band surgery, I went through the 6 months supervised diet and finally on april 24, 2012 I was banded. I am looking at this as only a tool to this journey and I know that I have to be an active participant. I'm not looking to be skinny but I am looking to be healthy and off of all or most of my meds. I solicit your prayers and support. I am 3 days post op and so far so good. I havent been hungary but I was excited to began full liquids on today. I also have a concern, I currently weigh more today than I did the day of surgery, can anyone comment on this. I am a first time blogger and look forward to your comments.

This might be water weight. Might just be the trauma to your body. Good luck and don't worry.
