Followers After every fill do you have to go on liquids for a couple of days? Had my first fill and so far cannot tell too much of a restriction. I know it will take a while but I want 80 lbs gone now

Sometimes a fill has a delayed effect for me too...it may take a week before it tightens up. Trust me, slow is the best way to go. If you get overfilled, it can be a nightmare! Good luck to you!
legnarevocrednu LAP-BAND Patients January 10, 201214 yr Author stats My doctor told me to progress the post op surgery diet day by day. For instance, the day I had my fill, clear liquids. Next day, full liquids, next day, pureed, next, soft foods. Depends on the doctor I suppose!
Band_Groupie LAP-BAND Patients January 13, 201214 yr Author stats Yep, usually 1-3 days depending on your Doc. I always looked at is as a way to lose weight and reset my thinking as with each fill you'll have to relearn how to eat again (chew more, eat less) as you get more restriction. Learn patience and set your expecations now so you don't get disappointed (I think the avg. is 4-6 fills before the sweet spot). We're all in a hurry, but getting it off slowly is the best for you...remember that. -BG
