Almost A Month Post-op

Well its been almost a month since i had surgery. it has been kinda low key. Im back at work. I will says it has been kinda disappointing because i have been following my diet plan but havnt last any weight in two weeks. Im down almost 20lb since prior to surgery, but i have been sitting here for the past two weeks, I have been active, i dont know if its because this is a far as im going to get until i get my first fill on friday or if im doing something wrong.

If anyone has any input it wud be helpful, because i am very discouraged right now because of it.

LAP-BAND Patients

Hey I was banded December 1st 2011 So a month has passed for me as well, the first thing that I noticed was my tummy going down. I was able to start wearing my cute pajama shorts without them falling under the "Roll".

The next thing I noticed was that I was losing inches like CRAZY! My clothing was getting loose and baggy but the scale just kept moving slowly. I just had my first fill on January 5th .....So stay positive ....Im still amazed at how much I use to eat before...I eat off this little saucer and Im full. I get on my husbands nerve because Im always cutting stuff in half instead of getting my old "usual" serving

congrats ! im 4 weeks out and have only lost 12 lbs. had my 1st fill today, hopefully this will calm down my returning appetite. you lost 20 so far ? wow thats great ! im down 1 pant size so far, hopefully those little nsv's (non scale victories) will keep you motivated when the scale doesnt move . good luck !!

Alot of people get discouraged, at the beginning, but the truth is your are suppose to heal first and the weight loss comes after your band is adjusted to where it needs to be. Be patient and let your body heal.

I guess i was just expecting that as fast as i was losing it b4 i expected it to continue and it hasnt.. Im hoping its because my body is decreased in swelling and it is that time for an adjustment because i have healed...

friends and family seems to be noticing i have lost weight but i dont see what they see, guess thats also cause im more harsh on myself then they are.
