Why aren't I sleeping?

It's 2:45 am in my part of the world, I should be sleping. Instead I'm here learning the ins and outs of this website and desparetly seeking support for next week's lapband surgery. I started this jouney last August when I spoke with my doctor about surgical options for weight loss. He asked me if I was "really serious", I said "yes", He said "it will change your life forever". I thought "Good that's what I'm looking for".

Since then I have jumped through all the hoops for my insurance company, had all my preop visits, including my surgeon's April consultation visit and June pre-op visit. I'm 2/3 through my preop liquid proten diet. I was hungry the first day, but doing ok since.

Ok, I'm starting to get drowsy. I'm off to bed soon. Thanks for listening.

LAP-BAND Patients

Not sleeping, too much on your mind. Been there, done that and still there at times. Or it could be I have lost some weight and I have more energy because when I wake up in the middle of the night, I want to do something..........not eat but acturally want to move this old body and do something. Now if I could get my husband to wake up my house would get cleaned during those early morning hours.................LOL Good luck with you weight loss.

LAP-BAND Patients

Good luck to you, I lost 19 lbs on preop and felt the best I have felt in my life during that time. I am only 2 /12 weeks from having had my surgery, so I cannot tell you much, other than at first after the surgery I was very discouraged..hormonal for a few days, but now I am so happy I did this. I love how it has positively impacted all aspects of my life.

LAP-BAND Patients

My surgeon had no pre-op protocol and I visited my old pastures for the last time. From what I read in these blogs, I feel my surgeon is exceptional. Anyway, for more about what to expect and not just,. pardon the pun, belly-aching about failed expectations, visit my external blog. I am down 55 pounds in 10 weeks
