your stomach still needs to heal from having been banded!!! That is why your doc hasn't banded you yet. I didn't get my band for like 6 mos after being banded and that was cause I could eat a whole 6 inch grinder from subway? Now when you do get banded make sure you go slow, don't go too much at once, cause you don't want to go too tight. I went from being able to eat the 6 inch grinder to not being able to eat anything and now I am still having problems and it is no fun. Seems since that fill I have been having problems, and Im not saying this to scare you, but I was to a point that I wanted to tell them to take it out. This is something that I didn't realize takes alot to get used to, and so don't push it, take it slow!!! That is my suggestion!!!

my doctor will only allow a fill if I am not losing weight. I am down 42# in 7 weeks so he is content as am I. GL2u

Thanks Doc. I gained 2 lbs from 2 wks ago. I've only been banded 1 month, but was looking forward to a fill. Hopefully in two weeks I will get a fill. GL2U also. And 40 lbs in 6 1/2 weeks is wonderful.

Thanks Tina for the suggestions. I could taste a steak/cheese sub right about now.
