Welcome!! It does make things more difficult without the support of family but maybe they'll come around when they see what great positive changes will be made in your life?!? This is an exciting time when you start counting down the days 'til BandDay. Have fun continuing to peruse around this sight...definately info on anything-lapband! We certainly will support you here as well as God and your friends. It does make it a little harder when you don't have family support, but you have to do what's best for you and your future health. Good luck to you on Band Day and make sure to keep in touch with us following the surgery, we will be behind you 110%.

Welcome Jennifer, I still waiting for my surgery date in the mean time Im dieting and eating I dont know if Im going or coming LOL . Wish you all the luck please start posting pictures pre-and post op so we can follow your journey. I plan too.

OH WOW!!!!!!!!!THANKS FOR ALL THE LOVE SUPPORT AND COMPLIMENTS GUYS! I want to start journaling through my pics and take one on monday when i start my pre-op diet and the day of surgery and go on from there. Hard to take a good pic when i live alone, but i'll figure it out. Last nite I went through the before and after pics and was inspired even the more. I 'm so excited and cant wait to start my journey, well i guess i kinda already have! LOL
