You may not be eating as much but you could be possibly be eating the wrong foods. That was my problem when I had very little weight loss. I figured that because I'm eating less that I can eat whatever I wanted which in turn caused me to only loose like 3 pounds a month! Not cool. So I changed my eating habits. For break fast I have one of those super Thin Bagels with light strawberry cream cheese, Lunch is usually 3oz of any type of meat (usually baked or pan fried with cooking spray) and a side of veggies, and Dinner is basically the same as lunch except I usually include about 1/4 cup of rice with my meal and 1/2 the veggies. In between meals I drink about 32oz of water and I won't allow myself to eat unless I have drank every ounce of that.

I was told to completely stay away from pasta (slips through the band a lot easier and faster which causes you to eat more) and fruits (too much sugar). So I did and it definitely helps with the weight loss.

As far as exercise goes, I was doing a hardcore bootcamp for a while but now I just run at the park about 4/5 times a week for an hour or so.

I hope this helps smile.gif

I understand. I have been banded 8 monts and have only lost 30 lbs. So frustrating! I had some fluid taken out because I was sick all the time. Everything got stuck and I wasnt able to eat enough to do good hard workouts. Now I can eat better and I work out very hard. Still....I have lost nothing in 2 months.

in Sept it will be two year since i was band and i have lost 50lbs...keep in mind that in the last 6 months i have not lost. I have been sabotaging myself by grazing during the day. I go to the gym 2-3 times week and dont get off the machines till it tells me i have burned atleast 300-500 cal.

We all work diffently...i am always amazed at people that loose 60-100 + in one year. I guess i am not one of them but i am ok with it. I keep telling myself "it took me 10 year to gain 100lbs, so what if it takes me 2-3 years to take it off"

good luck
