WHY IS NOTHING WORKING!

UGGGGG< I'm so Pissed off at my self, I feel Pathetic, I should be happy, right I'm 10 pounds away from having lost 100 but you know what i feel, fat, ugly, and any other hurtful words we tell are self's.

I have stopped losing weight,

I go to the Gym 5 days a week. I have gone down to 1200 calories a day (or try too,) and nothing is working now, I'm fed up with this.

I need to lose another 90 pounds to blow my family away when i see them in July, I feel like I'm failing them.

everyone says i look so good but there just saying it to make me feel good, it doesn't it make me feel Awkward, like I'm obliging to tell them something and and and I'm not strong to say no to some candy,

why why do I feel like shite when I should be so proud that Ive dune so good.

This is why therapy is key to having the surgery, you need to deal with the underlying issues. Self esteem is an important part of the process. You're doing EXCELLENT you've reached a plateau, this is great for a couple of reasons: 1.) You're doing everything right so your body is used to it and 2.) You can go off track for a few days enjoy yourself and get right back on it...

Also it's important to wow yourself, not your family... you're doing great, keep it up and keep us posted.

I agree - you only have to please yourself - no one else! Everyone talks about plateaus. I believe that is what is going on with you. It will pass. Just keep on doing what you have been doing. You lost alot of weight. You should be very proud of yourself. Don't put yourself down. You've come a long way! Hang in there and keep us posted on your progress. Take care. :)

Keep your chin up!! This too will pass. Don't go back to distructive behaviors.

Look back at your pictures of your progress and what accomplishment you have done!!

We will celebrate with you when you reach your goal... it is within your grasp now.:)

i have moments like that too... but i go to bed and tell myself tomorrow i start fresh!! I have not lost the weight i thought i would by now. It has been over 1 year and i had planned to surprise my extended family by loosing over 100 lbs...well so far i have lost 50lbs and the scale has not moved for over 2 months... Fustrating-- YES...is it going to break me--- NO!!!

Do what you do for yourself!!..family will never understand how hard it is, and yeah people will come and tell us how great you look..bla bla bla. I just say thatnk you and its a work in progress.
