LAP-BAND Patients

i am 2 weeks post op and just saw my surgeon yesterday, i asked about the port and he said that spot will be tender for a while, sometimes i forget its there and sometimes i have to breathe thru the pain, it takes time to heal give yourself time and listen to your body

My port was tender for a month or two. It takes time especially since it is in a spot that you are constantly moving. Eventually it does go away. When I get fills sometimes it is a little tender when she is poking around to find it but really no troubles.

I'm trying to figure out where the port sight is, haven't been in for a fill yet. I thought it was where my scar is, but last couple days my side has been hurting up higher like right under my rib and feels all tight . I had been walking ok, but yesterday it hurt so bad I almost couldn't finish my walk. Keep hoping I'm just paranoid. Banded 12-28-10 still have 3 more weeks before I go back to the doctor.
