having silliva problems...help

hello everyone, hope you all had a wonderful christmas, and did't over in duldge...lol...I went to the Dr. and got another fill and it's at 9.25 now. I got home and i'm not able to drink anything in the mornings. I't takes me about 3 hours to swollow drink without making come back up. I really want to know if theres anybody out there that when you drink, your silivia tripples and you have to spit out what keeps producing to keep from gaging??? I've only been able to eat soup once a day other that that i can't eat anything or drink anything, so i called the Dr. and i have to go back Monday to have some fluid taken back out. If i could drink something i wouldn't go back to the Dr. because it's really helping me lose weight, but they say somethings not right with me and my fluied.... Has anyone had the problem with the drinking deal or am i alone out there with this silivi thing.....someone please respond to me and let me know what's going on with me.

Hi that happened to me before. Your band is filled way too tight. It helps for losing weight but your quality of life will deteriorate. I hate to be a downer but I just experienced the same thing. When liquids become a problem, the band it way too tight. i have also experienced the saliva problem. I also developed heart burn, migraines and some other digestive issues. After I went back to the Dr. all of my problems disappeared. I hope this helps.

Good Luck, let me know how it goes.

Sorry Sonya Goldy is right on..you are too tight. You might be losing weight right now but it is not healthy and you cannot maintain this very long. You are not getting enough protein to have enough energy to have any quality of life. You will develop other digestive issues. This is not healthy. If you get a slight unfill you will actually lose even more weight with the proper diet. Zinhaa does have a point though that warm liquids do open some people up in the mornings when you are too tight in the mornings. I wish you the very best, please go to the doctor on Monday.

I agree with the others, you're way too tight! Sorry to hear that you have to wait until Monday to see your doctor. I'm so fortunate because my doctor will come in or have someone on his staff come in when you have an issue with being too tight and it's the weekend.

You'll feel much better once you see the doc. Our bands are very finicky and even just 1 cc can make all the difference in the world sometimes.

Make sure you get enough liquid in so that you don't get dehydrated. As others have said, warm liquid sometimes goes down easier.

Take care.

Sue
