Fat Jokes Continue

So here it goes, am I being retarded, or just too sensitive. I am at work today, feeling good, and a 2 guys start making up fat jokes at my exspence. I lost 90 lbs, I am down from 305 lbs and these guys are making jokes at my expense. Anyone else go through this. Both guys are neither in great shape themselves, but damn I am looking better than ever and actually weighing less than one of them for sure, and they are making fat jokes at my expense. What the hell is up with that. they have been doing it lots lately. Whats up???? Any suggestions what a guy can do without looking like a pussy, or is that plainly too late, lol.

People do it to make themselves feel better about their body image. Either ignore it because you are BETTER than them and doing great or come back with a witty comment. LIKE... I can lose weight but you can't change being ugly. LOL you get the idea.

Wow... they are obviously jealous. Don't let their negative actions bring you down! And if it were me @ my job then management would definitely be involved. No one should have to deal with that at work. I say put you pride to the side and do what you gotta do.

re read your first sentence...how can you fault these men for being insensitive if you 'knock' the mentally challenged? so you are really no better they are. People like you offend families that actually have mentally challenged people in their families.

Whoa - I'm sure Pablo didn't mean to be insensitive to mentally challenged people or those who care for them. Sometimes our fingers go at a faster speed than our brains. Lets not beat each other up over an unintentional "slight". Good luck Pablo. I like kay2004's comeback!

You could do two things: 1) ignore them or 2) you could let them know that what they are saying is not right in the workplace. If it persists after try approaching the supervisor. If it gets to where the supervisor does nothing, you have the option to voice an Equal Opportunity Complaint--whalla. After all their actions makes you feel uncomfortable. Nowadays we do not tolerate that kind of behavior in the workplace. Straight and to the point.
