Havin A bad week

I'm having a terrible week. I get my fill this Thursday and I am hoping it will restrict me. Right now I am eating complete junk and way 2 much of it. I'm very depressed. Then I get on this website and everyone says they lost 15-30 lbs. really quick. I'm 7 weeks post-op and down 14 lbs. What am I doing wrong? Will a fill restrict me from overeating?:)

LAP-BAND Patients

Everybody is different. It depends on their metabolism, how much weight they have to lose, whether they exercise etc etc. One of the hardest lessons to learn on this site is not to compare yourself to anybody else. Its very tough but you need to remember to set your own goals based on your conversation with your doctor and then work toward them. Best of luck!!!

LAP-BAND Patients

Not everybody loses a lot or loses right away. Some do and some don't. Just keep yourself focused on you. A fill will help, but you may need another (or another) to get where you need to be. It is a marathon, not a sprint. But you have already started and it does get easier!
