Second day and back at work - wow! Get in enough protein . . it will help with your strength. Rest as you can. I'll bet you'll sleep tonight! Best wishes.

Thank you for the nice comments. This is a difficult time for me because i was not mentally prepared for this. What kind of proteins can i have during my first week?

My Dr. told me only liquids the first week. I used Premier Protein Drink that you can buy at Costco. It has 30 grams of protein & 160 calories for a 11oz. carton. I only picked this one because it had the most protein on the list of drinks. Also on the list soft yogurt, low cal. eggnog, strained soups, V-8 juice, thin smoothies, miso, sugar free Jell-o & broth. Hope this helps & remember you can always buy Carnation Instant Breakfast at the grocery store. Good Luck & try to get some rest.

Wow I could not have went to work two days later! I had just gotten out of the hospital! I had my band about 12 days ago and I'm just really starting to feel better! (had a set back with the stupid gas bubble but all is well now!) Good luck with your recovery!
