Today is my third day at the diet. I am having difficulty drinking the protein mix I was given. I hope my doctor will put me on something else. I feel so down today. I want to stick with this so very much, but I am litterally sick from the protein mix. I never could stand sweet foods very much anyway and this mix is so sickly sweet.

    Oh no...I've read others saying the same thing...One switched to the SlimFast shakes...Maybe ask your Doctor if you can switch...I start on Nov 5th and get banded on the 19th...When do you go?

    Try the Adkin Advantage shakes.Can purchase at Walmart.I like the chocolate.I put them in freezer for little while and gets like a shake...

    Thanks for the info about the Adkin Advantage shakes. I really appreciate it. It gives me hope. A couple people have used different drinks and I thought I could only use what the nurse told me to.

    Also I get one called Muscle Milk it is quite tasty. They have them at grocery stores, convience stores, and they come in different flavors. They are pretty good. It has alot of protein in it as well. My doctors office said as long as it had isolate in te ingredients that they were ok with me using something other than what they recommended.
