LAP-BAND Patients

You will be fine. I was banded Tuesday. Truthfully, the worst part was all the fluids they pumped into me while in the hospital made me pee every 45 min. No joke! When you're tired and you're belly is sore the last thing you wanna do is get up out of bed and go to the bathroom with an IV stand every 45 min.

You'll be fine though. Dont be nervous or scared.

This is the best thing you could possibly do for yourself. I wish you the best of luck. I am 17 weeks out and have lost almost 39 lbs so far. Work of advice, after surgery walk, walk, walk, even if you don't feel like it. You will have some gas in your shoulder and neck area and walking will help it dissipate more quickly. Best of luck. Check back and let your fellow bandsters know how you are doing. WE LOVE OUR LAPBAND! You will too.
