No restriction

I am at a point of being depressed after having my sugery. I have had two fills (the last fill on 9/28/10 with 6cc total). I am able to eat whatever I want to eat and not getting any restriction. I am wondering if this was a complete waste. I have lost 12lbs but I know people who are two months out and has lost more than me. I don't know if this is a mind thing or what. Need help. :cursing:

The "tool" does work hrdiamond4. I can only suggest to keep working with your surgeron's office to get you to that place where 3/4 to 1 cup of food keeps you full. I saw my surgeon today and that is what he said . . I also need another fill because I'm not at that place yet. Keep doing what you're supposed to do and work the tool . .. it will get you where you want to go - I believe it! Best wishes.

LAP-BAND Patients

I just had my third fill and I am at 6cc's. My doctor is now puting in small amounts. 4.8, then .4 and .8. I feel slight restriction, nothing more than I did on the first fill though. So I understand. I lost 30 since banded in June and now I am STUCK at my weight! How big is your band? What was your starting weight?

My starting weight was 209. I feel that I am stuck at this weight as well. I don't eat fried foods, drink sodas, don't do a lot of snacking and I do Zumba. I don't know what the problem is. I hope things get better for me. I know this isn't a quick fix or a miracle maker but with all that I sacrifice I feel that more should be coming off. I thank you for your comments and to know that I am not alone in the "stuck at weight" mode.
