4 days out

I had surgery on Tuesday everything went well. I have been having some gas pains but the worst thing is i have a yeast infection. The Dr. Thinks its from the antibiotics they gave me before surgery. Fun times. Besides that im feeling good..

Congrats on joining our ranks. The Lap Band is the best gift you could have given yourself.

As for the gas, walk, walk, walk, and it will leave your body. Some people used GasX, as well.

Be prepared to start your journey - watching your food and exercise are really important. The LB is just a tool, you have to do the work. Best of luck.

I'm glad you are doing well, Julie and hope that the yeast infection clears up . . .maybe yogurt would help when you can progress to mushies. Keep up the good work and best wishes.

When I went in for Surgery I had a UTI and didn't know it, until my white cell count was up. So he gave me antibiots for that too, but it makes for a MISSERABLE surgery! Hope your feeling better!!!!
