not losing

Its been 5 weeks since my surgery and I have only lost 10 lbs. starting to get discouraged. I don't eat any junk and watch my portions and don't drink with my meals. How on earth is it that people lose 20 -30 lbs in the 1st mo. Believe me I have plenty to lose.

Everybody is different. I know its hard, but try not to compare yourself to anybody else. Set goals for yourself: exercise, drinking water, eating better -- and then go for them.

And think about it! You lost 2 lbs a week for the last 5 weeks! In a year that is over 100 lbs! OMG. You are on a fantastic path to health and success with this band. Don't be depressed!

Thx for the comment. I know that that is the way I have to look at it. I knew going into this that it was not a quick fix.I am eating allot better which for me is a big thing and starting to feel better as well. I also think I need to stay off of the scale. That little device seems to be a downfall for so many. Thankyou.
