Good Morning Everyone

Well i am down to the last 5 days before my surgery, I am definitely ready for this and the change it will bring. Bought a few things I will need at the hospital. I didn't have a robe for when i am walking, walking, walking, so found one but geez looks like something my great grandma would wear but it will do for the few hours i am there.

The best of luck to you! I am 5 days out of surgery and feel fantastic! The walking advice couldn't be better....helps with the gas bubbles :)

Keep us posted on your progress!

They will probably give you an elastic support band to wear for about a week after the surgery! Wear it! It helps with support as you walk. And I agree with seanamw -- walk as often as you can -- it "burns through" the gas!

Best wishes to you and keep in touch............

Best of luck. and you probably won't need the robe. I had my surgery at around 7:45am and was home by 11:30am. Try to drink as much fluid as you can, but don't make yourself sick. Walking goes without saying and take your pain meds on day 1, you probably won't need them for very long. Welcome to our little bandster family.

I am on day 5 and your post made me think about a conversation with one of the nurses.... do you have a robe? No, and don't even own one either! hahaha!! She made me a double gown and I was styling while making my laps around the floor.
