just thinking..

hmmm going along with the title of your blog and trying to figure out how to help you...

1. I know this sounds old school but why don't try to leave 2 or 3 bites of food on your plate from each meal

2. Another thing I do is I only eat until I am satisfied not until I am full

3. I changed my son's snacks to ones I that I could have as well..all sugar free kind..sf popsicles, sf pudding and then there are a couple that I don't like at all that he loves

4. Have a cheat day..where you can have what you want within reason one day a week (or every other week)..however often you think would work best for you.

5. Not sure if this will apply or not..but cut out all liquid calories until you start losing again. I got on an apple juice kick for a while and then one day I drank 800 calories and didn't even realize it...now that is a big mistake considering I usually only consume 800-1000 calories a day.

Gorda please take these in the most positive way I am truly trying to help you. I know how frustrating this has to be for you. I was just trying to think of some ways that might help. I wish you the very very best!!

you dont have to tell...i havent told anyone, except for my husband....

i have twins too!!! but i was so skinny after i had them! but i had their brother a year later and never got "skinny" again!!! kids!!! LOL!

In the beginning I did tell people. Not because I felt like I had too just cause it's a part of me I wanted to share. But now I could care less. So when I get into a conversation about losing weight people want to know what I'm doing. I'm eating less, eating healthy and working out. And that's the truth!!! lol Do whatever you feel most comfortable about.. ;o) And have a great lunch!!

well the surprise was on me!!!

I met two friends. The last time i saw them one of them was quiet large, even bigger than me.

WEll... i did not recognize the woman walking towards me till she opened her mouth to say hello... OMG!!! it was only half of her!! She lost over 130lbs in the last 2 years. She had the Gastro Bypass and had reached her goal.

I was speechless...and very happy for her. But in my head i was like" why cant i be a skinnymine now"

We talked just a little about the surgery and all because we had to catch up with so much in 2 hours. She looks totally different, i would of never recognized her if we bumped into eachother in the street.

So, i did tell them about my band... it felt ok. But seeing her gave me a new motivation. I added a pic to my album... she is the one in red.

I want to be irrecognisable too!!
