Starting week 4

I was just banded on 6/21. I survived the 2 weeks of liquids and 1 week of soft food and now Im very much looking forward to start experimenting with solid food agains. I tried a little bit of chicken tonight cause Im been dying for some meat and it seemed to go down ok. Im still struggling with the exercise cause I dont have a lot of energy. Just trying to stay motivated.

your energy will rise as you eat "normal" foods. it will increase even moreif you stick to the healthy stuff! i started off just walking 20mins a day, slowly. I was up to one hour at a brisk pace in just a week after that!

Just walk, thats all for now it will take too much out of yourself if you try to do more. You are not getting enough calories yet. I was banded one year ago on June 29 th. I am amazed how fast this year has gone by. Go slow on the food and chew well with small bites. Rest and put fork down. You are still healing on the inside.

Do not struggle with the exercise there will be plenty of time to get in a routine. WALK for now and it is easy and will work for us as we are on such a low calorie intake for first few weeks. Follow your Dr. orders and the pounds will fall off while you sleep. Best wishes imaluckydog
