Day 7 post op I MADE IT THROUGH!

Well I made it through today! :)

My husbands side of the family came over for BBQ and cake for my sons birthday. None of them know I was banded on Monday. So I was surrounded by food all day and I did not eat a thing. Told them all I was on a protein diet where I have to have 2 shakes a day. Most were fine with it, some shook their heads like I was crazy  (very reason I didn't tell them). My husband was very compassionate and did not let me help at all.:cool2: I did not have to prepare or clean anything.

I felt good today, but being out in 95 degree heat all day my incisions are sore and itchy.

Today is definitely the best I felt! Sleeping is a different story I still have pain when I turn on my side but that too shall pass!!

Wonderful for you! I had my surgery two weeks before THANKSGIVING 2007. So I know the feeling! lol I don't have a husband at the time I had a live in boyfriend and he was a complete jerk about my surgery. That warms my heart to hear when men support their wives or visa versa. It really does help in the process of weight loss because let's face it... our eating habits have changed (in a good way) dramatically. And everyone else around us usually have remained the same. Stay strong and motivated, you will see awesome results and reach your goal in no time!

Congrat!

Yes my hubby is my SAVER!

Guess what I got caught up on Sunday, June 27. was at the MIL home and she asked me about my eating and why I was drinkin my shake.

She was like well what all do you eat. (she caught me off guard, especially since I was still on my liquid diet)....I went ah ah ah ah....my hubby jump right in and said well she can pretty much eat what ever but in smaller portions...my inside just got all warm.

My MIL looked like why is her son answering for me. so I waited awhile and walked out of the room...lol...he later followed...

I was like Thank You for the help. his response was, that's what I am here for.......
