Day 3 Post Op...

I so very tired of the clear liquid diet. Would like to stop spending so much time in the bathroom. Still in a bit a pain and assume the swelling is why it is hard to just get the liquids down. Found one very satisfying treat...Baskin Robbins, cookies and cream sugar-free candies. Not sure they will hold me over for 2 weeks of clear and 2 weeks of cream liquid. I want some fish!! Didn't probably get even a quart of liquids down for post op day 2...but will keep trying to get more in. ANY SUGGESTIONS??:smile2:

sugar free popcicles!! and if you have a Rita's Italian Ice place near you, the pink-lemonade sugarfree icee is very good! i'm eating that right now! I found that i liked the turkey and vegetable broth after i got sick of the sight of chicken broth! LOL! and.... hot tea w/Splenda really filled me up for a few!! sip slowly!!! - pretend its a starBucks or something fancy!!! ;-) i dont like jello, even when i'm not on a diet, but you might like all their new SF flavors....

Fish is my favorite food, and I can't live without it!! Sooo during my mushie stage I brought fish broth and poured it over my mash potatoes or grits and it worked in my mind I was having the biggest catfish ever.
