Discouraged at my progress

I haven't even had my first fill (which is tomorrow) and I'm gaining some of the weight I lost. I haven't even cheated on what I'm supposed to eat and I feel like I'm failing. My hubby says I'll lose more when I can be released to work out plus have my adjustment. I sure hope he is right. I don't know what I'll do if I don't start losing faster. Argggg :frown:

Are you on foods yet? That may be the reason. I noticed that everything slowed down when the food was re-introduced. I don't go back until June 10th so I have a little while longer. I am hoping that I get a fill because I have no restriction right now. I think it is just a temporary thing.

Same thing here. Once I started eating food after the liquid - the weight started to hold. Then after my body readjusted to food and what to do with it - everything started working better.

Remember - lap band is a slow process. No instant gradification.

I hate to say it but he's right! I gained weight before my first fill but after I could eat normal food and started getting fills, I started losing 2 pounds a week. Be patient (not my strong suit, either) and practice your good eating habits, measure, cut up food into small pieces, eat slow and chew, chew, chew. Good luck.
