Is it worth it?

Surgery was on April 28th and now it is May 10th and I am still fighting the hunger pains 24/7.

People keep asking is it worth it? Was the surgery worth being hungry all the time?

I do not have an answer to that question. But if it lets me live longer and do more things with my son and my husband then I will be more than happy to stay hungry all the time. My son is 9 years old and he loves baseball. He's pretty good at it too.

Hey,clittle of course it's worth it anything to be healthier and be a better mom is worth it, Iam kinda of new to this myself(-1-14-10)but trust me once you start with your fills you won't be hungry all the time and you will feel much better. Plus we enjoyed a long time now eating was fun but now we must eat to live and not live to eat.Good luck on your journey.Chachis

No one ever said it was going to easy...right?...I so think its worth it.My husband had the Gastric done a couple of years ago.....and I told myself ( NO WAY I COULD GO THROUGH ALL THAT) well, I had my surg 3-18-10 (the lapband) im down 32LB and feeling very good ..Its still hard but u adjust. Look!! once you see the LB start to drop and your kids friend tell your son (hey your mom is lossing weight)and it brings a big smile to your sons face..Shooot!! you'll tell yourself "HELL YEA" its worth it...after a couple of fills the hunger will go away...Hang in their..
