questions about mushies!

my doc cleared me for mushies and im having difficulties!

super finely mashed tuna salad is tough to get down, i have to eat it in pea sized bites. mashed potatoes go down alright for the most part. im scared to try pudding. pureed turkey got stuck. that was awful! after several minutes it went down but that was scary. :(

is this normal? am i doing something wrong? im scared to try scrambled eggs. and im supposed to be eating solids in less than a week!

I haven't stopped eating pudding. It is an easy thing to add protein powder to. I like bannana pudding with 2 scoops of vanilla protein powder. I have heard that if your going to eat chicken or turkey to eat it with gravey so it isn't dry. Hope this helps! =) Make it a great day!!

I hate that you are having such trouble with the mushies. I wonder if your band is too full. I was instructed to eat soft foods two days after surgery and they went down fine. Everyone is different, so I would continue to take it slow...just make sure you are getting your protein in.

Best of luck and take care of yourself. :)

my bands definitely not too full. i dont have a fill. its empty. my surgeon told me that he put my band on snugly so i guess its still a bit tight.
