No weight loss?

Woke up this morning started with my normal ritual, hopped on the scale, again today no freakin' weight loss:mad2:. I'm really pissed, 5 days post-op, which means nothing by these damn liquids, and stil nothing no weight loss. I'm trying not to be so uptight about but it's really hard.

Has anyone else this problem? is it normal? I must admit I haven't done a lot of exercise, today I'm going to kick my exercise plan into gear.

Forcing myself to get over it!

I have heard others say surgery can cause water retention weight gain. So give it a week or so and see how it all works its way out of your body.

I didn't own a scale immediately after surgery so I don't know what my weight was doing then.

Maybe TMI territory here, but have you gone to the bathroom? That is what did it for me. I lost about 6 pounds right after surgery, but as soon as I got on solid foods, I jumped up a couple. It is an interesting ride the first few weeks, I think.

Good luck!

Are you drinking plenty of clear water as well? It will flush the waste from your system.

It took me 5-6 days to get the fluid from surgery off and to get the, ahh, poo out, so it was really a week before I saw anything on the scale....try not to get too frustrated, it'll start showing BUT you do need to e working on the exercise too...

Thanks guys, I was just a little beside myself. I know I'm doing everything I'm suppose to be doing so I'll just wait for the scale to catch up.
