Eh it's just not the same...

So I had pizza last night.. I was craving it.. (I know I know) I blame the $10 for any large pizza email I got from Pizzahut...anyways I got thin crust thinking this would help with bloating...etc..

Eh it's just not the same.. you ever eat something cause you had a craving and then you're like "eh" this isn't what I was expecting." or "this isn't as good as I thought it would be" - yep totally the reaction I had last night.

Or maybe it's truly that I just don't care for pizza really, and especially pizza hut.. either way I was just about full after a piece, I started to eat another one and I was done.. which makes me glad I didn't get hand tossed but seriously who wants pizza on a cracker? Ick!

I had the same experience. I got the thin crust from dominos and was like wow this really isn't that good. :)

McDonalds is also that way with me but I think this is a good thing...actually I know it is a good thing!

Wow, I had Pizza Hut Pizza with my husband yesterday at lunch. But first I had a very large bowl of Salad with limited dressing, then I tried a piece of pizza, (Thin and Crispy Crust) The first piece tasted pretty good, it was hot and cheesy and went down ok, so I tried a few bites of the second piece and yuk, it was getting cold already and I thought about the greasy stuff and almost got sick right there, think that is my last pizza, nothing against Pizza Hut. I do like their salad bar and always ask for pepperoni to put on my salad there, they use to put it on the bar, but don't anymore, so I ask for it!

I'm right there with ya on not really caring for pizza. My parents thought I was the weirdest kid on the planet. Eventually figured out I can't stand pizza sauce - so I get "white pizzas" - but I always ask myself whether the grease and calories are worth it. Me personally, pizza is always a let down...but sometimes the hubby just wants pizza and I eat a slice and I'm done. I'm looking forward to the banded days when I can say - I really shouldn't eat the bread... :)

I get that feeling too. When I crave something and feel let down after I eat it. Then feel it wasn't worth it.

You hit the nail right on the head. Food just does not do it for me anymore. It's no longer my safe haven and when I do think I want something, I put it in my mouth and then....blah. Not the same! But it's all good and I could not be happier!
