any good protein drinks?!?

I am 3 days PO. My Nut. is stressing about the protein drinks that I am supposed start today. Well I tried and as soon as i got the 1st drink down it came straight back up..I tried this 2x but didnt wanna risk anything after that. Does anyone have any suggestions about some good protein drinks? Other than that I am completely great, just a lil sore still yet. Thanks for any advice you may have:smile:

Remember to take very tiny sips. I like the Atkins vanilla shakes (walmart), but if you have trouble with the milky ones at this point, I would try nectar brand roadside lemonaid, crystal sky or cherry. I don't think you will find those in a store though. I get those online.

whats the website that you use? I will look into it. I am going to go to GNC and walamrt today to see if I can find some that are fruity like, I think I can tolerate them better.

you can get sample packs and try all the flavors from many of the brands you hear people talk about on LBT.

Many of them I did not like, so I'm glad I ordered the sample packs.

www.si03.com (this is the one where I got the nectar ones and like the lemonaid, crystal sky, cherry) the apple tastes like green apple jolly ranchers.

Try Carnation Instant Breakfast too (the powdered ones you mix with milk) they don't have that "vitamin" taste the premixed ones have. Good Luck

I use wheybolic 60 from GNC. I bought vanilla and chocolate, then I make them with soy milk (much better than skim). THEN, the best part is making "shakes" or flavored protein shakes. I use sugar free jello powder for a strawberry chocolate protein shake or a rasberry vanilla shake. I think it makes a huge difference. I blend in my magic bullet with 2 cubes of ice. Still not something i'd choose over chocolate, but the flavoring helps. Good luck!

i have had problems with protein shakes... i am not a big sweet/milk drinker so i would gag.

the ones i can tolerate are Carnation isnt. and special K protein shakes. they have about 10-14 gm per serving but they are not to sweet or chauky. must having over ice!

My # 1 protein sourse is CABOT cottage cheese. 1/2 cup of it has 13gm.. so i usually eat it 3 times a day and get over 35gm of protein. Im happy with that.

good luck and take it easy!
