Miserable today

:eek:If I would have know how absolutely miserable I would be I would have stayed fat. I just got adjusted to 4cc's on Monday today is Friday and I am fighting to keep any food down. My stomach feels like it has been through a battle and I just want to cry. From everything I have read 4cc's is nothing but I feel like I am dying. I have talked to friends who have had this and they say the vomiting comes with the territory. Does anyone have any advice on how to keep something down?

Was this a big fill for you? What were you at? I would advise on staying on liquids or mushies for at least a week. I am banded and filled to a 8.5 and when I my fill was alot I would not feel well for a week or so because my body was adjusting, I have also been over filled only by a 1/2 cc before and went back and an adjustment to remove the fluid and felt good again. So you could have been over filled.

You need to stay on the soft foods and lots of protein drinks. No hard foods! And never drink anything with your food. This will cause a clog and you will bring that food back up. Think about your stomach as a drain pipe, when you eat too fast, it backs up, then if you add fluids to it, it only emulsifies and turns to slime, so always dring l hour to 30 min before eating and or the same after eating, giving your food time to pass through the "drain". You will adjust to the fill period! It will hurt if you do not adjust. This is an opportunity to lose more weight the first weeks after a fill, work with it and the scales will make you happy! Happy New Year~Happy New YOU!

Thanks to you both, I feel a lot better today and am able to keep a bite down at a time, but that is awesome advice. I went from a 3.5 to a 4 and who would have thought it would have made such a difference. Live and learn I guess. I see some are starting at 6 for their first adjustments and I can't imagine. I am so glad I found this website.
