Day ONE POST-OP!!!

i am feeling pretty good.

yesterday was a roller coaster ride, but i made it.My surgery was delayed because the person in front of me had major complications... i was scheduled for surgery at 9 a.m.,but didn't have it until 6. BUT, i was out and alert by 7:20.

I am sore, but right now, I can handle this. It isn't as bad as my gallbladder surgery was 10 years ago.

AND, my hubby has been very supportive!

So, as of right now... I am so happy that I made this decision. WHOOP WHOOP!!!!

Best health decision that I've ever made in my life.

Can't wait to start out 2010 with a bang!!!

Thanks for all the well wishes on my other post! It's great to know that people are reading what I write.

Best Wishes for you. Happy New Year and New YOU! Had my surgery 7/29/2009, best health decision I ever made, no meds since the surgery. I feel as if I were re-birthed the say of my surgery.

After a few weeks you will be a pro at this. Any Questions feel free to contact me!

I'm glad to read how well you did with your surgery. I am slo had my Gall Bladder out and was wondering if it can be compared to that? I should find out my surgery date on 1/25. I'm starting to get nervous and doubts. But deep down I know I need to do this.

I agree...2010 is going to be great!

Congrats!

My surgery was supposed to be at 9:00, the day before they called (which freaked me out, I just KNEW they were cancelling) and moved it to 1:30...at 3:20, after having been NPO since 10:00 p.m. the night before they finally came to get me to take me back. It was all worth it but just something to whine about :). Glad you're doing well, you'll be sore a bit but it's really not that bad is it?
