On the mend

Once they started to put the lap band in, they noticed a hole in my diaphragm so big my doctor could get his fist through it. I am healing from that surgery....plus two lap bands...the first one failed.

I went in Dec 17th, but had to have a new lap band put in Dec 23rd. Not fun, but my life was in danger and you will do anything they say to live. They had to drain the contents of the pouch, out my nose so to knock me out, they put a fist to my throat...I guess anaesthesia could have allowed me to inhale the contents into my lungs. It is not something anyone would want.

So, my advice is NEVER TO CHEAT....do exactly as they say, because a blockage of the lap band can cause you to die very fast.

I did not cheat to experience this. But I am the better for it, and know that this is nothing to fool around with. May everyone find freedom in obedience in 2010.
