Is it worth it?

I have heard that question a million times since my surgery on Wednesday. I am 4 days post-op and would do it again in a heartbeat. Even going through the trouble I had, it is worth it. It is worth getting my life back. It is worth being able to play with my niece, who is the light of my life, and not get winded after a few minutes. It is worth coming off the $300 a month worth of medicines I am on a month, most of which will go away once I lose the weight. It is worth the energy I can already feel bubbling just below the surface. It is worth walking into any store and picking something up off the rack and it fitting rather than having to order everything through mail order. Most of all it is worth the knowing that I have done something that will make me healthy, healthier than I have been in many many years. So my answer to the question is, YES it is worth it!:tongue2:

I have been asked that to Is it worth it. I haven't been band yet and I have to say yes it is worth it. I have had people to say you can lose it . Well if I could I would have 20 years ago du. I will be band in Jan.( I hope) Anyways .. I look forward not to be on all my med in a few months. My Tumor, High blood Pressure , Cloistral, and me being borderline Diabetic. It will help. I get so mad when people come to me and say are you sure it's worth it are you not afraid of dying in surgery( I am afraid if I don't have it I will).. I say YES too and I haven't done it yet.
