SURGERY - December 11th

Jumped thru all of the insurances hoops and surgery is scheduled for Dec. 11, 2009. Dr. wants me on a liquid diet for 7 days prior to surgery - don't know what to expect - except hunger pains :thumbup:! Worried because I've failed at every diet I've ever tried. Will this work? It is my last option! Any information or helpful hints are appreciated. Thanks.

You can do it! I know you can...know how???? Because I've done it and I am only 25lbs from goal! I did it in May 2009 and so can you!

Stock your fridge with sugar free popcycles, lots of broth, lots of tea!

I am sure you can do this! If I believe I can then you can believe in yourself. That is what it will take is believeing in yourself. Remember with a good support system, a good doctor and faith you will be fine !!!

I am on my 6th day of pre-op diet and it isn' as bad as I thought it would be. I get hungry so I'll have a drink and it goes away. I thought by now I would be killing someone I'd be so hungry but it's not that way at all. I can't wait to lose the weight and go shopping, my husband is buying me a whole new wardrobe. No More Big Sizes. I hope your pre-op diet goes as well for you as it is for me. My surgery is Thursday Nov. 19) can't wait. Best of luck you, you will be just fine.
