Lost 43 pounds

ok i lost 43 pounds my surgery was 10/09/09 and I had my first fill today I am soooo sore is this normal?:thumbup:

I'm not sure if you're sore in your port area, or in your stomach. I had a little bit of port pain because doc wasn't sure which way my port was pointing and had to dig around a bit (eek), but it wasn't that big of a deal. However, I was really sore in my stomach area after my first fill -- it just felt really "raw" that night, kind of gravelly or something. I don't know - I'd never felt anything like that. It was pretty much gone the next day. I've had two fills since then, and didn't have any pain at all. So I'm not sure what that was about.

I hope yours is really shortlived, too -- let us know how that goes, okay?

Not sure about the Fill and being sore! BUT CONGRATS ON LOSING 43 BIG ONES!

That is great! 43lbs. I'm 2 1/2 months out and about 37lbs down. I have not had a fill yet but I remember being told 2 days after fill liquids and 2 days after that soft foods and gradualy into solids.

ooh.. no!! i have my 1st fill on thurs. Now i am nervouse!! i hope that after i will keep on loosing..for the last 10 days i have been the same (-18lbs) and i have been eating a little more.
