bsandz08, I haven't been banded yet...so I'm not sure I'll be much help. But it seems to me your lacking motivation. Remember why you got banded in the first place? What has changed that the reason is no longer important to you? It's helped me to find a buddy on the site that we private message back and forth. Someone to share your thoughts with that's where you are in the process. You could inspire each other. Also, your scale IS going in the right direction! Start over with your commitment to yourself today! Just some thoughts.....

Oh! And remind me of them when I'm where you are now!

It seems to come down to one thing....if you want to lose, you must work. Even if you don't like what's on the food list, try them again. Your taste buds will change. Get yourself on track and your family will more than likely follow. I'll be happy to be your web buddy. My email is: bmcneely@consultant.com

I know how you feel. I see a dietation when i see my surgeon. I was told to write down my goals for exercising and journal when I exercise and when/what I eat. I am going to try that to see how it goes.

It's a process. Each step gets you closer to the goal you are working for! Try not to beat yourself up, you are doing great. Set some small goals and work toward them. For example, if you don't normally have a veggie at meal time, add one. If you don't set down together for a meal, start. One step at a time.

There are some great food ideas that are tasty and easy to make. Check them out, it will give you a place to start.

You are doing great! Set some goals! You can change one step at a time!

dont beat yourself up. you havent even had a fill yet. it took me 5 fills before i started feeling any restriction at all. before that i could eat anything. i still try to stick to easy and convenient during the day. make sure you eat protein. i buy the pre-made tuna w/crackers for lunch and even some of the lunchables are good. once you start getting fills you will be able to tell a difference, promise!
