Feeling discouraged

Hi y'all,

I was banded on July 31st of 2009, had my first fill about 1 week ago, and have only lost a total of 10 pounds from pre-surgery weight, and I lost that before I even had surgery. So basically I havent lost anything since surgery. I am eating small amounts and drinking LOTS of water. I dont know what to do and am feeling super discouraged. HELP!

Good Morning!

Give it some time to catch up with you. Seriously.

I was banded August 08 and it comes off slowly but it DOES come off.

I know it's not the most original advice, but, hang in there!

Make sure you're getting enough calories (since you said you're eating small amounts). Yes, too few calories (around 800 or less) will stall your weight loss and your metabolism. Best wishes! -BG

make sure you are getting enough protein, that help your skin, and healing. what are you eating, e-mail and let me know. enmu20@aol.com, maybe we can compare food. it will be o.k. it will start coming off.

I am drinking a protein shake in the morning with milk, then having a cheese stick around 9am, eating lunch at 11am concisting of a smalll amount of food with a protein, fruit and veggie, milk at like 3pm and dinner at like 6pm. I am not hungry during the day, but can eat more than the 1 cup that I was told that I probably could handle. I am at 5cc fill. I dont really have much restriction. I walk about 3 times per week, but know I need to bump up my activity level. Could that be whats stalling me?
