First Fill!

Today is the official 1 month mark since my surgery, and it was also my first fill. I am really surprised at how quick and painless the fill was. It took only 10 minutes for the whole visit and I was able to watch the process on the xray monitor. Really an interesting thing to see in action!

I have 3.4 cc's right now, and am scheduled for my second fill on Oct. 1.

I still haven't told a lot of people about my surgery... including work, some friends, and some family. I just told them I had to have stomach surgery. I guess I am still living with the mind set that when I diet I fail and I don't want to tell people about it in case I fail. Also, the fear about the questions I would be asked.

So far I've lost 17 lbs. and I'm feeling great. I know once some restriction comes from the band, I will really start to lose.

Until next time!

I have only told my husband, son 21, Daughter 19, and sister who had G B Pass nine years ago. I am not telling anyone none of their business. I do not want to talk about it, only here I feel safe. I did not even tell my mother she thinks I just had female issues and everything is all better now!!! Keep it to yourself if that is what you want. Best wishes for a great start. imaluckydog June 29 was my band date and I have lost 50 pounds I am HAPPY ;-)

I had my 1st fill yesterday. I was really scared. I had to wait 4 hrs. I was hungry, kids 1 & 2 were cranky & hungry. I could only take 2.6 cc. any more & I thought I was gonna die. I could not watch. I am afraid of needles. So I closed my eyes or I stared at the celing. It was really not painful for my local or the injection. It will be a month for me on the 6th and I have lost 22lbs. I will go back on 10/15. I just pray that I can stay focused. I do love the shakes because I make my own in any fruit or coffee flavor I want that day.
