How about some old fashioned prune juice. Or some myralax. It's tasteless and you can put it in something to drink.

I am also day 17. My port site is a little sore. Difficult to lay in it at night. If it is that painful you ougt to call the MD just to make sure you dont have an infection. As far as exercise I have just stuck with the treadmill & elliptical for now. Do plan on adding some weights but probably will give my belly a rest for now. Take care.

If you're really stopped up, you may need do do something drastic like milk of magnesia or a baby fleet enema. As far as maintenace therapy, try adding benfiber in your protein shakes... it doesn't taste like anything and it dissolves in any liquid.
