I can't stop whining

Ok so I've posted threads I've posted pictures I've done all the required reading and made my decision I picked a surgeon and now all I want is an approval - my doctors office says don't call us we'll call you and my insurance co says they don't have anything yet so I whine that I'm tired of waiting but I really haven't waited that long.

trust me i know where your coming from.. but you are just starting the process and have a little ways to go...

I have been waiting for my surgery date for a month now.. i started this process of getting approved by insurance and all the blood work, and whatever else i had to get done in march of this year. But then again some other states its much faster. Here in Roanoke,Virginia.... its the SLOWEST!!!! but i have learned to bug the crap out of the offices! I call my surgeons office once a week... bugging.. and ill keep doin that till I get an answer/surgery date....

I hope i didnt upset you cause that wasnt my meaning, just lettin you know, lots of us are in the same boat you are.

Ya it's a waiting game and boy do they know how to play it.

Keep on task. Keep in contact w/the doctor's office and your insurance like dredems28 said.

I am with you on this. I started this process in early May and I have a final follow up appt on 9/17 with the Nutritionist for surgery "clearance". At that point I have about a 2 or 3 month wait for the surgeon and Insurance approval. So from May to December is 8 months. It's unbearable!! My weight is on my mind all day, every day. I want to get there now!! I hope yours moves along and it's great to hear from others that it will happen and that it's worth the wait. Especially since everyone in my program seems to try to steer me away from surgery all together. Best of luck!
