First One

Tomorrow is my first fill. I’m a bit nervous but excited at the same time. I’ve been banded only 3 weeks and only lost about 10 pounds. I guess I shouldn’t feel too bad since on my first week post op visit, I had any remaining liquid removed from my band. Not only did this hurt like h#$%, but it left me with little to no restriction.

I know that the fill is probably going to be painful tomorrow, because I’m still sore where my port is. It bothers me when I bend over and sometimes while I’m sitting. The pain is very uncomfortable. I would describe it as a burning sensation. I plan to discuss this with the doctor tomorrow. Is this pain familiar to anyone?
